At least 10 people died after s suicide attacker blew himself up near a security forces vehicle today in Afghanistan's Jalalabad city in the latest deadly violence to
rock the country. The explosion left at least four people wounded and set a nearby petrol station alight. Eight civilians were among the dead. No militant group has claimed responsibility for the attack.

Shoko Asahara executed

The leader of cult movement Aum Shinrikyo, Shoko Asahara, and six of his followers were executed on Friday. On March 20, 1995, five members of Aum Shinrikyo sect launched
a chemical attack on the Tokyo subway, one of the world's busiest commuter transport systems, at the peak of the morning rush hour. The attack had killed 13 people and injured thousands more.

Iran threatens to reduce cooperation

ISIS claims Baghdadi's son dead while fighting Syrian forces

According to an announcement made on social media accounts of terror group ISIS, the son of its top leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi was killed while fighting Syrian government

forces. A picture of a young man with a rifle was posted, who was identified as Huthaifa al-Badri. The death of Baghdadi himself has been reported numerous times, though he is believed to be alive.

A suicide bombing in Afghanistan's Jalalabad has killed at least 19 people, most of them members of the Sikh minority. They were travelling in a vehicle to meet President

19 killed in a blast in Jalalabad

At least 19 people were killed and around 20 injured in a bomb blast in Afghanistan's Jalalabad city on Sunday. Among the 19 dead were 12 Sikhs and Hindus,
said reports. The blast is said to have been triggered by a suicide bomber. The bombing came hours after Afghan President Ashraf Ghani inaugurated a hospital.

Turkey jails opposition MP on charges of terrorism

Authorities in Turkey have arrested Eren Erdem, an important opposition MP, on charges of terrorism. Only days after losing his seat with the Republican People's Party,
Erdem was jailed on Friday ahead of his trial in September. He has been charged for assisting a group that planned a coup of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in 2016. 

At least 5 dead as gunman opens fire in newspaper office in Annapolis

In a disconcerting incident, at least 5 people have been killed in a shooting incident inside the office of a newspaper named Capital Gazette in Annapolis, Maryland.
More others were "gravely injured" according to Bill Krampf, acting police chief of Anne Arundel county. A suspect has been arrested and is being interrogated by detectives.
